Mrs. Donoho
About Mrs. Donoho
An anecdote from Mister Rogers: “When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, “Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.” ~ Fred Rogers
I’ve always had a passion for helping people in need. I volunteered for more than 15 summers at a camp for children who had been abused and neglected, served as a nurse for 7 years, and worked for 2 years as a career counselor at a grant-supported office, helping young people get the job skills they needed to build a better life.
I have been a teacher at Kell Grade School for 3 years, and I get to work with some of the best kids in the world.
Fun Facts
- I’ve been to Africa twice.
- My favorite novel is “The Count of Monte Cristo“ by Alexander Dumas.
- I am afraid of heights and I love climbing to the top of lighthouses and mountains.
- I can quote the movie “Ever After” (1998) from start to finish.
- I have watched the entire series of “Little House on the Prairie“, “Star Trek: The Next Generation”, and “M*A*S*H” so many times, so, so many times.
